Preliminary Degradation Study Results Favorable
| |
The AICC has functioned as a confidential clearing house for members to evaluate this in house manufacturing processes through third party evaluations.
So far we have had the participation of ten member with another five sending samples. While the testing is limited, it will establish of the incoming strength of the corrugated structures and the deterioration that occurs in each converting operation.
Results so far are very favorable. It is amazing how much fat, excessive fibre, the independent market has been able to remove from corrugated packaging since the introduction of the ECT option almost twenty years ago. And they have been maintaining performance levels above the minimum requirements.
